Data analyst (intermediate)

Job Summary:
Leads, coordinates, or participates in assigned reporting projects simultaneously including research, analysis, documentation, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, and post-rollout review/audit. Creates and analyzes data for reporting and potential solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly journal notes referring to our internal Projects.
Document reporting requirements and processes, and validate data components as required
Actively participate in reporting optimization, consolidation, and communication of analytics
Participate and monitor reporting standardization initiatives across channels, regions, and business units

Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the field of Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Strong preference for background in data analytics, data driven analysis/problem solving and statistics
Background working in global/offshore environment preferred
VB script/macro experience in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency preference to Netezza, Business Objects, Alteryx, and SQL
Proficiency in MS PowerBI
Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with high attention to detail
Excellent planning, coordinating and organizational skills—with the ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and manage priorities even with constraints and challenges with little direction
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Works well with vague requirements, adaptable in dynamic environment, inquisitive and thorough
