About the Role :

Develops capable processes and ensures efficient and effective transfer of product into production. Entry-Level Project Management skills to assist leading multi-site cost savings projects (with assistance) and project management support for other discrete projects.

Your Responsibilities Include :

  • Work on a diverse portfolio of Cost Reduction opportunities of significant impact within Operations. Projects related to transportation, procurement / sourcing, manufacturing space optimization, and scrap reduction.
  • Identify opportunities for Cost Savings / optimization by review of complex, multi-site master parts lists.
  • Interface with multiple functions, Divisions, and Manufacturing Plants to scope and execute projects.
  • Project Management : develops (with assistance) and implements project plan; builds team ownership and commitment to the project plan.
  • Project Management : Assists with meeting facilitation, maintains meeting minutes, tracks action items., and keeps documentation organized.
  • Project Management : Responsible for team and cross-functional communications, identifies, communicates low levels of project risk.
  • Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on multiple and moderately complex processes.
  • Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and / or automation.
  • Executes the functional deliverables associated with the PDP / TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
  • Prepares and presents technical data and recommendations at technical reviews.
  • Writes validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes.
  • Ensures proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements. (e.g., BOM’s, Routers, FMEA’s, etc.)
  • Oversees development builds associated with the project using special work requests.
  • Develops qualified production lines.
  • Provides Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package.
  • Contributes ideas to or generates Intellectual Property submissions.
  • Trains and / or provides work direction to technicians and may train manufacturing personnel when required as part of a validation.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Related Field Desired.
  • English Level desired : B2 (80%-90%).
  • Desired knowledge : Process Validations, Process Transfer, Read and understand architectural, mechanical and electrical engineering drawing, Project Management, Knowledge in Quality Systems, Process Improvement.
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar position.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
